When tarter contol tooth paste first came out my wife bought some and I began using it. And I remember my teeth feeling loose.
Well, we haven’t used it since that time until recently when we picked some up by accident and, sure enough, after about a week my teeth are feeling a little loose in their sockets.
Is this really unusual. My wife doesn’t have this experiece. I was wondering if anyone else did.

You mean loose, like having wider gaps between your teeth? I’ve never used the toothpaste you describe, but that’s what it feels like each time I go to the dentist for tartar removal.
Obviously, the tartar was the only thing holding your teeth in.
So, when you go gum-bald, sue the bastards for millions! 
No, I mean it feels as if I were to reach in there I could mover one or two of them back and forth.
“Gum-bald” I’ve never heard that phrase before. I like it. It sounds so much better than “toothless”.
At my last dentist visit but one, my teeth were more sensitive than usual, and my gums bled too easily and had receeded slightly. The hygenist advised me to discontinue the tarter control toothpaste.
At my last visit, my teeth are sound, and my gums are in excellent condition.
So, yeah, it sounds plausible.
