Taste sensations I adore..but everyone else thinks are weird

A handful of popcorn, dumped in a cold glass of milk & fished out with a spoon.

What?

A nice peanut butter and marmalade and cheese and lettuce and mayo sandwich. (It’s best if you put a third slice of bread between the PB and marmalade and the rest of the ingredients, as the marmalade otherwise makes the cheese and lettuce slippery enough to slide around if you’re not careful.)

Also peanut butter on hamburgers and hot dogs.

Okay, this is just unholy. Have you no morals?

I salt my cantaloupe.

I like hot Chinese mustard mixed with pesto and slathered all over any kind of pasta.

I drink orange juice with iced oatmeal cookies.

Chili with sauerkraut as garnish. Yummmmeee!

Pickled okra with squeeze cheese (make a little cut and squeeze it inside or just put the squeeze cheese on a triscuit and top with the okra.
I was actually turned onto this by friends at a scifi con and I got hooked on it. It’s even better if you’re drunk. I still eat the pickled okra plain drunk or sober, although I try to avoid squeeze cheese when sober.

I also like to eat cottage cheese with potato chips.

Except for the cheese and pickles, I think y’all are just making this stuff up. Oh dear Og, I certainly hope so. Or you’re all sick pups.

Cream cheese and any kind of fruit preserves in a sandwich. I also like quinine water as a soda pop. My housemates think that’s weird, but I like the taste. I had a friend once who miked scotch and orange juice. Now that’s just evil! Isn’t it?

Parmesan cheese in coffee. mmmm tangy

I like chocolate and cheese together. Not literally in one food item, but consumed at the same time. One of my favorite snacks is a quesadilla and hot cocoa. Yum yum.

Makes a mental note to bring pickled okra and squeeze cheese to the Tampa Bay Area Dopefest.

Let’s see. I used to dip my carrots in chocolate pudding. I adore eating cold clam chowder out of the can. I love nutella and roasted-peppers with balsamic vinegar sandwiches. Cocktail onions - by themselves. Olives and dark chocolate. Pretzels dipped in Ben & Jerry’s chocolate ice cream. Among other things.

My boyfriend claims that when I’m pregnant, my weird cravings will be for… peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Peanut butter and dill pickle sandwiches.

Mmmmmmm… Hob Nobs. Have you tried the chocolate covered ones? Heaven.

Dill pickle juice is very tasty on green beans. Makes 'em taste kind of marinated. Hubby won’t even try it. He’s very conservative about food: if his momma didn’t feed him something, he doesn’t want any.

My mom thinks it’s weird that I put sugar on cottage cheese. I think it’s even weirder that she puts salt on hers instead!

I think about 50% of the population thinks putting tuna in macaroni and cheese is good, and the other 50% thinks it’s the most vile and disgusting thing ever. Personally I think macaroni and cheese by itself is really bland and tasteless, but tuna makes it oh-so better. Also if we have no tuna I’ve been known to throw in a can of Ro-Tel, which is also quite good.

Wasabi peas and green olives
Salsa on a turkey sandwich
Dr. Pepper and vanilla wafers

Potato Chips & Ketchup …

Or dipping potato Chips in Pepsi …

Yeah, I know … but everyone who’s tried it got hooked forever.
