Tea drinkers of the world...UNITE!!!

Hey! I thought that was the Lord and Lady plus all their animal aspects. I have the owl from the endangered animal series glued to my computer, as I type. Red Rose brand makes for pretty good iced tea, too. I usually use Tetley-- twelve bags plus eight bags earl grey, steeped for five minutes in a gallon of boiled water. Sugar syrup and lemon please.

For hot tea I like a brand carried by Williams-Sonoma, the stuff in the green canisters, you know the one I’m thinking of. They’re flavored, but not like some brands that club you over the head with synthetic flavorings, you can still taste the tea, thank you very much. Marriage Freres Earl Grey is my favorite, but just as pricey as the green canister kind, so I save it for home when I’m able to appreciate it properly.

For those of you who like green tea, does it make your mouth feel odd? I find it harsh and almost metallic tasting, never mind that it leaves my tongue feeling stripped of it’s natural slime coating. I’ve tried three or four brands and it’s the same with all of them.

Clearly, you need to have me to tea.

Tea? Yes please! White and sweet.
