The word of a psychopath that claims to tell the truth?
That’s not a bet any sane person would take.
Man, that’s seriously peanuts for an SE. Even entry level at my company they make more than that.
Maybe that is after taxes and whores?
He’s really just a code-monkey. They give 'em the title ‘Software Engineer’ where he works just to make them feel like they’re more than interchangeable cogs in the machinery.
Agree. It’s the average for salary.com for my geographic area and years of experience, however.
Unless the place is really, really fast and loose with handing out titles, I’m pretty sure that “software engineer” is actually a title he gave himself. It’s valid only when posting on message boards.
Hey, you gotta post anonymously for the station in life you can only wish to be. Grasp for things beyond your reach. Well beyond.
It’s what it says on my business card. If I am lying about this…then…why not lie higher? Why not chief scientist, brain research or some real title? There’s probably a million Americans with my role and a similar title today.
Shrug. I am not sure why you pick on this. It’s pretty probable I have such an ordinary job and title, I just took some classes at state U, got a job doing contract work for my dad for 3 years, moved to a name brand corporate job. Totally ordinary and I have a co-worker who did the same thing…
Err, 3.6 million in the USA. In 2013. Or more than 2 percent of the entire labor force. Lol.
And I have a pulse and a bachelor’s degree in ce, plus almost finished with the CS masters. In today’s labor market that is plenty.
Science!
Yeah, but they’re not sociopathic self-aggrandizing callous racist dipshits.
Professional liars like sociopaths usually have a well-honed sense of the limits of their credibility.
My business cards include Tigers Tamed and Sandwiches Cleaned and Pressed.
It has already been established that you are a bad liar, that’s why.
Umm, so, like, when did I lie? Like ever in this thread or on these boards? I have made errors. How have you “established” anything?
And if you turn out to be lying about me lying then…
Of course this seems to be endless recursion because maybe I am lying about you lying about me lying.
This post of yours is a pack of lies. And what a charming post it is, too!
Those and other related lies are discussed here. To be fair, though, you were bloviating so much confused misinformation that sometimes it’s hard to untangle your ignorance from your sociopathic propensity for lying.
Clearly, the people of the future will be putting Sammy’s frozen brain at the top of the queue for revival.
Ok, I am just summarizing freakonomics which has this idea. They propose both sulfur dioxide and other potential chemicals. The math checks out on their costs. (By this I mean if they estimate a cost of 10 billion, and climate change is doing 10 trillion of damage, that’s an awful lot of room for cost overruns. It’s pretty unlikely the injections would cost more than 10 trillion) So while I may be mistaken, just like you may be mistaken about anything you think you know, where am I lying. You need to quote exactly and show how a reasonable person would know the statement is a lie.

Do you know enough to debunk it? Where is your PhD in climate science.
Where is your PhD in climate science?
CMC fnord!
I never claimed to have one. Nor have I ever claimed more than to say “from my knowledge this sounds like a feasible idea why isn’t it being considered?”
And wolfpup has pointed out that acid rain, especially global acid rain, is really really bad. I concede he probably is right about that, but it might still be better than the disease.
