Because of money raised in the us by this man and his irish american buddies British Troops died including mates of mine. he was not a very nice person he left a woman in a car for hours after an accident she was tapped in an air pocket and could have yaken up to 8 hours to die i bet her family are celebrating now,

Kennedy never donated to Noraid nor did he support any such donations to similar organizations. I am no fan of the man but he did not support violent Irish nationalism. It is unfortunate that your friend was killed but there are many greater (actual) culprits from the terrorists who killed him to the British and Northern Irish governments.

Quite a few other rich men have held office and done virtually nothing for anybody but their fellow rich men. But there are other wealthy families that do make a point of noblesse oblige, that from those to whom much is given, much is expected. One might say that the most good for the common man done by 20th century American pols was done by Franklin Roosevelt of the Hyde Park Roosevelts and Ted Kennedy of the Hyannisport Kennedys.

You can also look at it another way in that they push agendas for purely selfish and egotisical reasons. Or they push agendas that will hurt people who are not as well off as they are (whilst appearing to get hurt by said agenda but really not being hurt at all due to their vast wealth) without any accountability.

I wouldn’t put Ted Kennedy anywhere near Roosevelt and there are many great families who did good for their fellow man without entering politics.

If i had not been late back to camp i wuold have been in the middle of the Guilford pub bombing. Mcguiness is known to have murdered British troops. These men should not be in a position of authortie of any kind. The UK government surredndered to the IRA and desecrated the memories of the soldiers who died fighting on their behalf. Tony Blair was a poodle to you President Bush and did as he was told.
