"Teemings" : Issue #2

… is now online! Teemings : Issue #2

A few notes :

1 : We’d like to give a big welcome aboard to ChrisCTP who joins us as our regular graphics co-ordinator. Hopefully, this will allow us to have a more consistant graphics style for each issue.

2 : We’ve also added Anthracite’s “Horror at Cecil Cove” to the “Extras” section and will be adding further chapters as this tale develops.

3 : Issue #3 is in the works now. If there are items that you’ve been intending to submit, now is the time. We accept submissions at any time, but the deadline for the next issue will be January 1st.

informational, fun, funny, and reader-written…

It’s fantastic, to say the least!

Uhhh…is there a link to the “Extras” on the page that I am missing?

Oh…never mind, I found it. I thought it was in issue 2. :frowning:

My damn workplace web nannie wont let me see it. Why don;;t you guys move the whole entire page to another host. Then I would be able to view the pornaography at work. hee hee

sigh My story’s better in a serifed font, really it is. :rolleyes:

BTW, that’s a nice banner, Chris!

Congratulations! A good job by all!

Gotta say, I’m dying to see what happens next in the Horror of Cecil Cove. Any chance you could send me a preview, Anth?

wow. Thats great. Especially “Horro at Cecil Cove.”

woo-Hoo! I’ve been published!!
btw… cheers for the clear up on the grammar David!!

Great job, everybody! I’m not done yet, but I’m really going to enjoy reading everything. Thanks for putting this together for us, Euty, DavidB & Chris and anyone else I’ve forgotten.

Good work by all!

[sub]You might want to change the title of Ruffian’s piece to “Diary of a…”, however[/sub]

Oh, tubagirl, if it turns out that it was my story that triggered your Net Nanny, I apologize. Porn’s funny dammit! :slight_smile:

Some of you may know I’m going on my big trip in 5 days. And that I’m going to be scared and homesick. And that I will be off-Board for that time, unless I can get Net access through a creative way.

So I’m going to spend my slack time on my trip writing the next installment of “The Horror at Cecil Cove”. I had some recent inspiration, and a couple good suggestions from pepperlandgirl to push me along. But mostly, I’m so flattered that people liked it. I thought it sounded contrived and silly, but then again I feel that way about myself on a good day, so maybe it’s just that old “0 self esteem” thing.

Just in case the weekenders here didn’t get the news.

Just came from there (via the SD Home Page) and it’s a really good issue. Yes, that banner is again a knockout. I had to download a copy for future reference, as I did with the first one.

Keep up the good work, guys! And try to “name drop” the Teemings link into a few more threads.

Oh, one thing I didn’t see was a link back to the main page and issue 1. If anyone hasn’t seen them, now’s the time to check these out:

teemings Issue 1 : "This Slim Volume …"
And bookmark this home page
* TEEMINGS

:eek: The link is there after all, named “Back to Welcome Screen”.

I’m published too, woo hoo. And my English Prof. said I’d never make anything of myself (he found out that the large ‘coke’ I regularly brought to class contained Ynglng. Bros. Porter (abbreviated rather than misspelled)(the pre-1986 recipe was $7 a case)). I’ll be submitting semi-regularly to teemings if I can find the inspiration. I’m sure the other authors will agree that we all appreciate feedback. And, since they haven’t spoken out on this they can claim it’s unsolicited, which is the best kind of feedback.
