Teen Titans

They also lost the “Little-Orphan Annie” pupil-less eyes she had.

Which is also a good thing.

Raven is far and away from her comic character. But that was hard to play up for TV. I actually prefer the TV version to the comic version, who was way to annoying.

It’s all about Aqualad.

I really like Teen Titans. I thought I wouldn’t, but ever since the first episode I’ve thought that it’s funny, engaging, and a nice departure from the usual DCU cartoons.

I’ve also gone from hating the character designs to mostly prefering them to the comic versions. Others have mentioned how huge a step up Starfire is from her awful comic book appearance, and I think Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy (who has never had a very good costume in the comics and suffered from god-awful haircuts for a long time) are big improvements, too.

Also, I love Mas y Menos from the Titans East episode. When I heard about them, I was all “why didn’t they just bring in Kid Flash.” Thank goodness they didn’t! They’re great, and I want to see more of them.

“Mas y Menos, si podemos!”

I enjoy the show, as it feels like a breath of fresh air, compared to most prpgrams.

And, Raven is a great character.

Oh, BTW–I always wondered why Beast Boy didn’t just turn into a T Rex in the comics.

And now, he does.

It was great watching him take on Slade…an attack by an enraged, heartbroken shapeshifter turning into dinosaurs, apes, tigers, and giant freakin squid in a frenzied assault that ended up doing as well (or better) than Robin’s angsty martial artistry. Heh heh heh.
