I’m not a big fan either, but questioning his expertise on that matter is asinine. Obviously he’s doing something right, as he’s garnered the highest ratings of any DJ ever.

I loved when they were playing John’s audition tapes on the air and he kept pronouncing “Pamela Anderson” as “Pamerler Anderson”.

Oh, I far prefer “Nig-olas Cage”.

Howard does some of the best celebrity interviews. If they can take a joke, he’ll bring out a side of these people that you usually don’t see. He’s an intelligent guy who can talk on any subject, and it’s always a conversation more than an interview, which puts them at ease.

I used to listen to Stern regularly (and still do occasionally) and I agree that he is the best interviewer going. However, there was one interview that I thought was a disaster. Did you hear his interview of M. Night Shyamalan 3 or 4 years ago? Stern’s rascist comments throughout were extremely disturbing. M. Night persevered bravely, but you could tell he was very uncomfortable. I was frankly shocked, and saddened. Stern should be ashamed of himself.

During the Presidential election Howard was very outspoken in favor of Kerry, or to be precise, against Bush and specifically against Bush’s FCC.

It was to the point that there was alot of speculation, mainly in non-political trade press, that Stern might have an effect in a close election. His rants against Bush were constant and harsh circa Sept-Nov 04.

Pardon the non-sequitur, but she doesn’t do anything for me. She’s obviously very beautiful, but to me she looks plastic - almost like charicature of a beautiful woman. Exactly the type of woman I would have thought Howard would go for.

Take my word for it, the picture doesn’t do her justice. The way she moves and carries herself is just sooooo sexy. JMHO.
