Hallboy and I met with the pediatrician on Monday of this week, who after a lengthy conversation and Q&A session, prescribed Ritalin, 5 mg. Hallboy began his first dose on Tuesday morning.
It’s now been checking the calendar 4 days of prescribed medication. I asked Hallboy if he felt any different, and he replied that it’s easier for him to focus on his work at school, and he isn’t nearly as distracted, but I don’t know if that’s actually occuring or if he’s parroting what he’s heard from Hallgirl. Time will tell, as report cards come out in another month or two.
