Prayers and thoughts going out from the Sauron clan today, JC. Good luck.
I’m nervous as hell, and not getting a damn thing done at the office here, but the juxtaposition of Sauron offering prayers and good thoughts is too surreal to pass up.
Hey, even Dark Lords need people to keep things running on the public information front. I can’t do EVERYTHING myself.
Besides, you’re good people, and Lady Chance deserves to have good things happen today.
Well, the results came back.
The initial results a few weeks ago were CIN-III and aggressive. The biopsy results were CIN-II and not aggressive. There were wide margins and he seems almost embarrassed to have done it as large as he did. But, as I told him, better too much than too little.
It’s about as happy an outcome as could be, I suppose. But I sort of feel like I’ll be looking over my shoulder for a while. Oofah.
Good! Much better than the other way around. My best to you and the Lady Chance, and may future evaluations be a breeze.
Jonathan Chance, I’m glad to hear it was less bad than the initial results. I hope that your wife is comfortable and that both of you are sleeping a little better.
Whew! Glad to hear good news. I’ve been waiting!
Hope you’re both feeling less anxious now.
I think that’s normal. Well, you are fortunate that the results now look less serious and agressive than the first indicators suggested. But certainly for my mom, even now that she’s more than 5 years post-cancer treatment (ovarian cancer), she’s always a little leery of claiming to be in good health, because she thought she was in good health when the doctor told her she needed to get an ultrasound (or something) which lead to the diagnosis of suspicious mass, which lead to the hysterectomy, which lead to the diagnosis of ovarian cancer.
Good news!
Glad to hear things went OK.
Here, CIN II means a smear at 6months, then annually for 5 years, then three yearly thereafter if all is well. I’m sure where you are it is more frequent than that, but I’m just telling you that long term, this tends to work out OK.
