Tell me what to watch tonight! (Three Netflix selections- can't decide)

Kung Fu Hustle
Chris Rock’s Bring the Pain
*Winter Light * (Ingmar Bergman)

I’ve juust about ruled out the Bergman for lighthearted Saturday night fare. . . but I’m willing to hear out proponents of this pick.

Anyway, no probing questions like: well what do *you * feel like, Mal? Just tell me what you’d pick if they were the only choices you had in front of you.

'Course, I’ve got four episodes of Arrested Development taped that I haven’t watched yet, either…ahhh!

I’d go for the Chris Rock.

Kung Fu Madness Time! Everyone loves kung fu.

Eek. Kung Fu Madness, definitely. Perfect for Saturday night.

I’m having a similar problem with Seven Years in Tibet, Final Destination, Confessions of an American Girl, and sleep.

Despite it only being 7:00pm, I’m leaning towards the last.

I’m tempted to add something naughty to your list, but I’ve decided to be good.

I’m not seeing it.

Not seeing the movie or not seeing what I’m adding…?

I meant what you’re implying but probably the movie as well.

Your choices are:
Sleeping
Watching a movie

I was just going to add a *third * choice.

Something naughty. Which is?

Ahem.

Well, I went with Kung Fu; it did seem to have Saturday night written all over it. I’m well pleased. Fun as advertised and much droller than I expected. I could’ve done without some of the more outrageously cartoony aspects of it, but I guess that’s the vibe they were going for. Thought the story was neat, too.
Do you want me to hit him or beat the sht out of him? Stop confusing me!*

Now as long as I can stay awake. . . it’s on to Sgt. Rock.

Yay! Sorry about the hijack.

Hmm, I came in here wanting to suggest Winter Light. Much better on Sat. night than trying to watch it on Sunday morning so it can be sent back on Monday. Perhaps a Sunday night flick?

Actually, I’ll probably keep it until the middle of the week or so, dalej. Maybe watch it Monday or Tuesday night. But tell me, I’ve heard WL is, um. . . pretty somber. Worth the weighty ride?
