Tell me what vlog/iptv you watch!

Alright, so I’m a full on IPTV / Vlog addict. I can almost (almost) do without real tv (Lost, BSG, House, hold me on). But here is my list of shows I watch on IPTV / Vlogs

For those not in the know, a Vlog is a blog done in video. Usually a daily thing, and often not that professionally done. The only one I watch is Rocketboom which is done professionally.

IPTV are shows with casts and teams and usually done monthly, sometimes more frequently. The shading between IPTV and Vlogs is murky, I tend to think of Vlogs as PBS to IPTV’s cable channels. Rocketboom for all intents and purposes could be an IPTV show instead of a vlog… shrug

Anyways, onto the listing.

The only video thing (vlog? IPTV? video podcast?) I watch fairly regularly is 1up TV, a video game review/discussion show, which is surprisingly good.

I tried Rocketboom and bailed after about 20 seconds. I didn’t find what’s-her-name funny or interesting at all. Same for Geekbrief.TV, a similar show whose anchor is stiffer than Stone Phillips in a deep freezer.

The only podcast in that vein I’ve found bearable is called MobuzzTV. She talks about pretty interesting stuff, and while she too is not even a little funny, at least she doesn’t attempt humor that often.

Oh, and looking at the iPod, I almost forgot the homestarrunner.com podcast called Strong Bad Emails & More! That one is just greatness if you’re a fan of the site. The “Teen Girl Squad” comics are especially hilarious.

Congdon (Rocketboom’s host) has her days where she is a bit annoying. Her voice has a range that can go from screeching, to scarily low. Generally I don’t mind her though.

This is probably not the right thing, but I became fascinated with a Jpop channel I found on Winamp.
