Looks perfectly fine to me. I don’t need it to be burnt, but it’s good that way, and I’d rather have it a little over cooked than undercooked.
A bit overdone but not a problem.
I’m no great bacon fan, but then I’m also no burned food fan. In my general experience with food, which is quite inadequate by most people’s standards, I prefer soft and underdone to crispy and overdone.

Threeved.
It’s “breakfast buffet” bacon. Overdone, but still edible, and, most likely, quite tasty!
Yep. Someone was too excited to wait and burnt the bacon trying to cook it faster. Shame.
I wouldn’t kick it out of [del]bed[/del] plate, but it’s badly cooked. Burnt in places and not evenly cooked overall.
Burnt, but certainly edible, and quite enjoyable.
Overcooked but probably still good.
I would give that bacon to my girlfriend. That’s the way (uh huh, uh huh) she likes it.
Me, I like my bacon the way I like my women: soft and rubbery.
[Voice of William Riker]: Lieutenant, that is very *sexist *thing to say! :dubious:
But I go with the majority. Maybe a bit too dark (for my personal taste), but still good to eat!
Mostly well done, but definitely a little burnt around the edges, so not perfect. I’d eat it about as eagerly as I’d eat less well cooked, chewy bacon.
Burnt but edible.
That’s why I like my bacon cooked in the microwave. No little bubbles of non-crispy fat.
I like it slightly blackened. Sometimes.
I like it slightly underdone (whitish fat, pink meat, a little chewiness) sometimes.
I don’t have any real problem with the depicted bacon, as a side or a finger food. I’d like it a little more tender for other recipes, such as fried rice or a sandwich ingredient.
Another vote for this.
And another one.
Burnt but bacon.
Like most others, I would eat it - and enjoy it well enough - but it is definitely overcooked.
I answered burnt in the poll, because that’s the closest choice
Very slightly overdone. Good enough for me.
