Tell me where to order halva?

I think it’s called halva, though when I search Amazon for “halva,” all the results are pure nougat.

What I want are the candies with nougat, nuts or sesame seeds, AND the boiled jellied fruit. All in one piece. Preferably individually wrapped, to be carried in a purse to rescue one from a blood sugar crash when one is being dragged around the city for 16 hours a day.

Affordable shipping to America a must…

Do you mean Joyva Halvah? They’re the major US brand.

It looks like they make Turkish Delight, and nougat. Not what I’m thinking of.

What I want, I have found in a Lebanese market in Paris, and in Harrod’s Food Halls. The pieces are often round, apparently sliced off a log of nut-filled Turkish delight wrapped in nougat, or sometimes in a strip of tougher fruit paste.

Malban. Just found out that the chewy fruity stuff with nuts is called malban.

So what I need to find is a website that will sell me an assortment of malban and nougat.

halvah

could this be it???

sorry, i was replying when you figured out what is was. Google isn’t bringing much up. My mom is lebanese and may be able to tell me where to find it, do you have an International store where you live? We have the Sultan International market out here in Colo. Sorry I’m not helping much.

How about this place?
