Never, EVER point a gun at someone! I’ve read about 100-year-old revolvers that were still charged (but this was noted as a matter of interest; not because there was an incident). The very first thing I do when someone hands me a firearm is to make sure it’s not loaded… even I just watched them check it themselves. And the muzzle is always pointed in a safe direction. A lot of people are shot, and many are killed, with “unloaded” firearms.
Although I’m a non-violent person, this meatsack of a co-worker should not have been surprised if you snatched the shotgun away and whacked her “upside the haid” with the butt.
One time I went for a walk & was walking on the dirt path when a motorcycle cop came to me. Pulled out some paper & pencil without prompting [makes me suspicious, the cops must have told him I was deaf] & wrote some stupid message about ‘be sure to look both ways for cars’.
Four months later, he was hit by a car when he was waiting at an intersection. I wrote him an email & said, ‘remember to look all ways for cars when waiting at an intersection’. I didn’t hear back from him.
I just learned recently what happened was he was on his motorcyle & two cars ran into each other, one spun & hit him, knocked him off his bike onto the road in front of an old lady driving that way, who ran over him, found out she did, backed over him again. He is no longer a cop & has a limp too. Well, I didn’t know all that until a year after emailing him. Maybe I spoke too soon.
