I’d eventually like to have my teeth professionally whitened, but it’s just too pricey for me right now; however, I do have a couple of events coming up for which I’d like to whiten my teeth (temporarily, instantly?) Is there any kind of brush-on tooth “paint” that would last for a day until it was brushed off. (Pearlie, maybe?) If not, is there any whitening product that anyone has found to actually work noticeably well in one month (Crest White Strips, Super Smile Toothpaste?)

I used Crest Whitestrips dutifully for 2 weeks before my brother’s wedding - you put them on for like 5 minutes a day - and my teeth were indeed noticeably whiter. I am a smoker and I drink 1 diet cola a day (no coffee). I think it was well worth the $40 for the kit, because it did a great job.

Note that some people have adverse reactions to using whiteners - gum irritation, weird tongue problems, sensitive teeth, etc. I suggest if you have a month that you consider trying the strips now in case they do not work out for you.
