I’m just middle of the road.
Behavior: 52 out of 100
There are many, diverse reasons why certain people act or feel a certain age at any given time of their lives. Feeling a certain age is not a static thing, nor is it something that always follows a pre-determined pattern. Some people act older when they are children, then have a second childhood in their retirement years. Others act like children until they become parents, and then seem to click into a different mode and become more responsible adults. Wherever you happen to fall on the timeline of life, there is nothing inherently wrong with it. Each stage in life carries both positives and negatives, and it is healthy to figure out which characteristics from each stage serve you well.
Nobody falls completely into a box or a given category. There are several components to one’s emotional age: behavior, emotions, and responsibility. In the area of behavior, you seem to fall very clearly into the “adult” category. Adults tend to be efficient and get things done. You are probably a “doer,” whom others consider reliable, stable, and consistent; people feel they can depend on you. Of course, this can be a burden if others rely too much on your behavior. However, you seem to be someone who strikes a healthy balance between others’ needs and your own. Just be aware that if you feel overwhelmed by the pressures put on you by other people or your work responsibilities, you should take some time out for you.
Emotions: 39 out of 100
In the realm of emotions, you seem to fall into the “adolescent” category. This means that you sometimes express your emotions without thinking about the effect it will have on other people. It can also mean that you are extremely self-conscious and worried about what other people think of you. Adolescents are known for being swayed by peer pressure and outside influences, and this is probably applicable to you! You might also have a tendency to be moody and withdrawn and have a hard time making emotional commitments to others. However, adolescents also display great creativity; they feel strongly about many different things in their lives. If you are looking for ways to further develop, perhaps you should try to keep in close touch with your emotions and be aware of how they affect other people. Recognize that you are not the center of the universe!
Responsibility: 57 out of 100
When it comes to the level of responsibility you assume, for yourself or others, you fall into the “adult” category. This means that you are probably someone who can be relied on to come through in any situation, whether it is a crisis or not. People around you probably consider you dependable and strong. It is a great characteristic to take care of others and be reliable. But be careful not to be so responsible that you forget your own “childish” concerns. Keep a healthy balance and continue to take care of yourself too.
