What is your "mental age"?

This 20-question quiz will tell you your “mental age,” which can be very different than your chronological age.

In my case, my chronological age is 68, but my mental age is 47. I think I’ll just claim to be 47 from now on.

Chronologically 44, mentally 38. Much older than I figured, considering I’ve been told to act my age twice already today.

56 for reals
39 mentally

you read older than that.

Actual age: 53, mentally: 38.

But, I found some questions very hard to answer truthfully, since on a few of them none of the answers were really possibilities for me.

My security tells me this site contains malicious software so I’ll have to estimate.

Guess not. I don’t know what mental age means! Is it spontaneity and playfulness or is it naivety?

Physical: 44
Mental: 42
But I have to agree with** beowulff**. Was this quiz written by a kid?

My mental age is 37. I’m 23. I always knew I was mature beyond my years

I have some doubts about the scientific accuracy of the test though

Actual 62, mental 45.

However, I would say that on more than half the questions none of the answers were what I actually would have done in that situation.

42

Actual 35; mental 45. Same problems as others, plus–well, when I hear the word “magnum”, ice cream is not the first thing that comes to mind.

Real age 47, mental age 42. I found the questions odd, the one that asks for the best thing on TV didn’t list any of the shows I like.

I ranked 48 vs. my real age of 31, though I’m not sure how accurate that is since the questions were grossly Anglocentric. (I’m not even sure what a “magnum” is in reference to ice cream - I’ve only ever heard the term in reference to firearms and prophylactics.)

54/37

Actual 63, mental 38.

There is obviously something wrong with the test.

Real age: 33; Mental age: 38.

Actual 59, Mental 47. I don’t see a whole lot of difference.

actual 38, mental 31.

66/39. Yeah, I’m childish.

According to this test, mentally, I’m 36. I turn 40 next month.

The test had a lot of questions with answer choices that didn’t fit me at all, so I’m not so sure it’s a great measure of anything.

If I want ice cream, I’m probably going to one of the bodegas or the grocery store near my place and getting a pint of something (usually whatever seasonal flavor of Haagen-Dasz or new Ben and Jerry’s that I haven’t tried yet.)

My favorite TV shows weren’t listed in the question about which programs were best.

I think the iPad is potentially very useful, but I’d prefer the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

When Apple comes out with an iPhone, I don’t really pay much attention. I’m an Android fan at this point.

I think the best way to get rich is to really invest in yourself, developing your talents with an eye towards what’s meaningful and gratifying not only to you, but to others. That’s not an answer choice, though.
