(test) who should you vote for?

89 David McReynolds
76 Ralph Nader
70 Bill Bradley
62 Albert Gore Jr.
49 John Hagelin
34 Harry Browne
27 Howard Phillips
24 Patrick J. (Pat) Buchanan
22 Alan Keyes
19 John S. McCain
18 George W. Bush

No real surprises, here. If we were able to weight how important we thought each issue was, I guess Nader would have scored highest for me.

I am a Green Bean, after all!

70 Albert Gore Jr.
54 John Hagelin
37 John S. McCain
36 Harry Browne
33 Howard Phillips
27 Patrick J. (Pat) Buchanan
21 George W. Bush
15 Alan Keyes

No real surprises here. I just want to find out who some of these guys are.

74 Bill Bradley
68 Albert Gore Jr.
58 David McReynolds
48 Ralph Nader
47 John S. McCain
45 George W. Bush
42 Howard Phillips
40 John Hagelin
33 Alan Keyes
31 Harry Browne
31 Patrick J. (Pat) Buchanan

I’m amazed that any Republicans showed up with double digits at all on my list, let alone with numbers as high as they are. Somehow I have the feeling that this thing is wrong. I mean how much further away from the republican agenda could I have “voted”? Strongly in favor of gun control, strongly in favor of stricter criminal penalties, strongly anti ANY kind of forced religion in schools, strongly pro gay rights. I mean, what would it have taken for me to get numbers in the low teens for the republicans on my list if those answers didn’t do it? Or are republicans becoming more liberal in their stance on these issues and I just missed it somehow?

Hey, right-wingers! Don’t feel so lonesome:

73 Harry Browne
69 Alan Keyes
65 George W. Bush
63 John Hagelin
62 Howard Phillips
61 Patrick J. (Pat) Buchanan
60 John S. McCain
31 Bill Bradley
28 Albert Gore Jr.
27 Ralph Nader
27 David McReynolds

I do question the scoring on this, though, since I disagree with Browne so strongly on a couple of issues that I would never vote for him. And I’d certainly vote for McCain before Pat Buchanan.

Catrandom

Out of curiosity, Cat, what issues do you have with Browne? (if this is intrusive, or whatever, feel free to not answer…)

73 George W. Bush
60 Alan Keyes
56 Howard Phillips
56 John Hagelin
56 John S. McCain
54 Bill Bradley
52 Harry Browne
51 Patrick J. (Pat) Buchanan
47 Albert Gore Jr.
38 David McReynolds
33 Ralph Nader

Dammit, and I was all set to vote for Gore, turns out I’m republican…what do I do now?

I’m sure that John Hagelin has a shot!

59 George W. Bush
55 Patrick J. (Pat) Buchanan

46 David McReynolds
45 Harry Browne

Gee, I am shocked beyond all belief.

91 Alan Keyes
89 Howard Phillips
81 George W. Bush
77 Patrick J. (Pat) Buchanan
72 John S. McCain
71 Harry Browne
54 John Hagelin

Voted Rookie of the Year in MPSIMs and the Pit, along with Best One-liners.
And I don’t plan on keeping this as my sig for long, just until the winning buzz wears off.

Apparently I should vote for Bradley. Boy, am I out of luck.

Gamera is really neat, he is full of turtle meat, we’ve been eating Gam-er-aaaa…

Here’s me (Hmm, looks like us right-wing loonies are pulling even with the left-wing loonies):

80 Harry Browne
65 Alan Keyes
53 George W. Bush
51 Howard Phillips
48 Patrick J. (Pat) Buchanan
45 John Hagelin
43 John S. McCain
35 David McReynolds
33 Bill Bradley
28 Ralph Nader
22 Albert Gore Jr.

Which is perfect, since I really want to vote for Alan Keyes anyway. Maybe he’ll still be in the race when the primaries finally hit my state (poor old New Jersey). Browne? Libertarians never win anything. They’re too busy being peaceful and honest.

Of course, dropping out all of the single-issue loonies and no-hopers leaves me with Bush 53, Gore 22. So I’ll be voting for the moron over the robot this year, but I already knew that. (Tough luck about McCain; I agree with him on fewer issues but think he’d be a better president.)

43 Harry Browne
33 John Hagelin
23 John S. McCain
21 George W. Bush
14 Howard Phillips
13 Alan Keyes
10 Patrick J. (Pat) Buchanan

Man, where are the fun candidates? I want somebody who can run my country AND be an entertaining party clown at the same time. So I guess I really have to go with Buchanan. Heh heh.

52 Albert Gore Jr.
28 George W. Bush
27 Howard Phillips

I have a hobby. I have the world’s largest collection of seashells. I keep it scattered on beaches all over the world. Maybe you’ve seen some of it.

74 John S. McCain
59 Harry Browne
53 John Hagelin
23 Albert Gore Jr.

Looks about right, at least nothing too surprising. I like Keyes, but have long realized that he wouldn’t be a choice in November. Bush it is.

83 George W. Bush
75 Patrick J. (Pat) Buchanan
72 John S. McCain
