Really interesting link bernse! I seem to remember missing only one.
BTW, my ophthalmologist is color blind.
I thought it was pretty cool, but I must warn easily excited Dopers that there’s one of those “surprise-it’s-a-screaming-bloody-monster” things in it.
Thank you Already in Use oh thank you.
I got to the last picture and went, huh? Then I remebered Already in Use’s comment and figured out what was going on. Phew.
I scored perfectly however.
Bah! Freaky! You really should warn people first though. I passed them all woohoo!
I should have known, with a link involving the word “sabotage” in the URL.
They frown on jack-in-the-box links around here. After that little surprise, I absolutely agree with the guideline.
Not what I particularly wanted to experience at this time o’ the night, bernse, ta.
Putting the screaming, stabbed woman to one side for the moment, is the rest of the test legit? I mean, are they genuine colour-blindness test pictures or just made up to build up to gag? (I use the word gag, despite the complete lack of humour - hell, it didn’t evn make me jump)
Shadow – I’m not sure. For one of them, I saw the number but couldn’t make it out as instantly as the others saw the number and thought “whoa! I gotta replace this monitor…” (Got a monitor that’s getting a little gamma heavy.)
The test would be hugely influneced by basic screen settings, which makes me a little dubious.
I believe they are genuine – or at least scanned from genuine test cards (regardless of one’s current color settings). They look very much like the cards in one of the tests that made up eye exams when I went to the eye doc.
BTW, I always passed those with flying colors, so to speak.
What Ice Wolf said.
