Test Your Movie Knowledge!: Part IIII

Interesting connection. Ummm, no. It’s not Cpt. Kirk, it’s a likeness of his face. A mask. And a big knife.
Halloween!

Oh, I get it.

I_L_6 = The Patriot? (sneaky)

Theme time:

HF_14: “Everything I needed to know about standing tall, I learned from John Lithgow.”

HF_15: “Everything I needed to know about babysitting kids, I learned from Billy Crystal.”

HF_16: “Everything I need to know about flying, I learned from Tim Allen.”

Gods & Monsters

You’re reading my mind (except for Dean Cain), Zeldar.

HF_16 The Santa Clause

Not the Patriot, Zeldar!
Even Sneakier.

Good guess, but not part of the theme. Because of the way they’re (loosely) connected, there’s only one right answer for each. I hope.

I didn’t guess the Patriot. That was Horseflesh.

But I’ll guess The Man With No Face (or whatever it was) just to get another rebuke!

Hey, y’all, as soon as the page flips, could we get a recap of everybody’s hangers? I have zero clue where we are.

Not the Man with no face, either!

I_L_6 “Everything I needed to know about hostage situations, I learned from Mel Gibson”

I_L_6 serious guesses:

Conspiracy Theory
Signs

However, I don’t really remember any hostage situations in either one. The Negotiator had some hostages, but Mel wasn’t in that.

Did anyone say Lethal Weapon? There’s a definite hostage situation in that…

Hangers
HB_2 “Everything I needed to know about playing softball, I learned from Dean Cain”
Hint He gets a phone number from the catcher after hitting a home run.
Another Hint Dean Cain plays a gay character.

HB_3 “Everything I needed to know about camping, I learned from James Purefoy”
Hint “I know this pub that serves real Guinness.”

New
HB_6 “Everything I needed to know about the song Wildfire, I learned from Bruce Willis”

HB_6 sounds like “In Country”

Hangers *******

Z_7 “Everything I needed to know about digging for buried treasure in the yard, I learned from Anthony Franciosa.”

Z_13 “Everything I needed to know about causing a fire in an apartment across the street by shooting a book, I learned from Charles Bronson.”

Z_15 “Everything I needed to know about visiting crime scenes for literary purposes, I learned from David Duchovny.”

Z_16 “Everything I needed to know about stripping a car’s doors off in a parking garage, I learned from Ryan O’Neal.”

Is HB_6 “Hudson Hawk”? If I’m right, though, I only guessed it through second-hand knowledge.

RA_1 Everything I needed to know about enormous keyboards, I learned from Tom Hanks.
RA_2 Everything I needed to know about enormous beached stingrays, I learned from Marcello Mastroianni.

RA_1 Big
RA_2 La Dolce Vita?

Z_13 “Everything I needed to know about causing a fire in an apartment across the street by shooting a book, I learned from Charles Bronson.”

Telefon?

MM_2: “Everything I needed to know about geology, I learned from Ryan O’Neal.”

Zeldar - La Dolce Vita, yes. Although I confess I’m not positive it was a stingray.
Rod

MonkeyMensch, you’re the second one now to try Telefon, so I’m going to go ahead and reveal my movie. The Mechanic has Bronson teaching tricks of the assassin trade to young Jan Michael Vincent. At some point Bronson goes to a great deal of trouble with photographs and floor plans to decide the way to off this old dude across the street is to use some acid wrapped in bubble gum on the burner of his gas stove, as well as some knockout drops in his tea to get the room full of gas fumes. Then with a scoped rifle and a book with an incendiary device in the bookshelf, Bronson shoots a silenced bullet into the book causing the apartment to blow up and look to investigators as an accident.

Now, was that Telefon or The Mechanic? Whichever, this clue is dead now.
