I came up with Obama on this one, but with Edwards on the Dutch version. (Don’t worry, it’s in English). I saw in the paper today that most Dutch guys are coming up with Edwards.

I got 83% for both Kucinich and Gravel, and 69% for Obama. Frankly, I haven’t paid any attention to Kucinich because I know he’s unelectable, but I’m not surprised by that result.

Nah. Kucinich actually professes most of the policies that liberals and democrats favor in theory. But the other candidates try to be more moderate in order to be more “electable” and out of pragmatism. You see the same sort of thing with third parties - they may have all the policies people want in theory, but not be considered viable and so aren’t ever voted for.

I got a 100% match with Kucinich (unelectable), 91% for Gravel (never heard of him) and 84% for Edwards, whom I really like. 79% match with both Clinton and Obama, which I can live with.

You can keep the weighted items the same and respond on teh support/don’t support scale the opposite, ie if you selected education to be an important issue (5 points) don’t change that, but instead of supporting more funds, say you don’t support more funds.

They determine which questions you get, because it’s assumed that those are the things you care about in a candidate.
