Speaking as the citizen of a country that has an actual secessionist movement in one of its political subdivisions, I can say with some knowledge of the subject; Texas does not have a secessionist movement in any sense that matters.

If you pay attention, every single day, pricks in power in Texas prove that they shouldn’t have supreme authority over what happens there. Only keeping Republicans out of the White House and thus, preventing a conservative-stacked Supreme Court, stops idiots from making innocent children’s lives miserable.

There will be no other effects in our society, besides dead or homeless children, if the blowhard Texas AG gets his way. No argument can be made in favor of his position. Forcing kids to be outed to their parents is a recipe for disaster. There’s a reason why even children know not to tell their brain-dead bigot parents who they really are.
