Channel-surfing, I saw what appeared to be a quick shot of a photo of a letter in the same hand as the printing on the letters addressed to Brokaw & Daschel. Has the text of these letters (if any) been released? If so, could someone please post a link? Or, if y’all know that it is still being withheld, could you let me know so I can stop my fruitless web-mining?
We, the members of Mrs. Lindstrom’s fourth grade class, would like to offer you this cocaine as a token of our appreciation for your hard work at the US Senate. Please share it with your staff, as they too must be working very long hours.
Your Truly,

Dear Mr. Brokaw:
Per your request, we have located the one remaining World War II veteran upon whom you have not personally performed fellatio during your research for your book, “The Greatest Generation.” Unfortunately, Captin Neil Jablonski of the 125th Airborne had just recently passed on.
Enclosed please find 10 grams of his ashes which the widow Jablonski generously donated. In lieu of fellatio she has suggested that you pour the ashes into your mouth, and then swallow them with water.
I’ll have to check with my sister-in-law again, but the text of the letter she got at the clinic she works in said something along the lines of “We’re going to kill you all” and was signed “Army of God” - the Eric Rudolph outfit. Whether or not the letter actually contained anthrax is still under question - I think the tests come back today.
Thanks, CnoteChris. I’m at a computer that doesn’t have a .pdf reader installed right now. Look forward to checking it out when I get home. Thank god for dopers.
Hmmm. Interesting. Now that I’m home and was able to look at the .pdf file, I’m wondering why ABC news has such a crappy scan of the letters. [sub](Puts self in place of photographer/scanner.)[/sub] Oh. Right.
