Thank you! (for those who tested my son's movie site)

In this thread, I asked my fellow Dopers to take a look at a website my son built for a BPA (Business Professionals of America) competition at school.

I want to issue a big “thank you” to everyone who signed up on his site, and everyone who offered constructive criticism on the design. He just took first place in the state with it, and he’s going to the national competition in a couple of months. Your feedback helped a lot, and he really appreciates it.

Specifically, thanks to MitzeKatze, MeDrewNotYou, It’s Not Rocket Surgery!, don’t ask, Clothahump, Green Bean, Leiko, ZipperJJ, Contrapuntal, twickster, Palooka, JKilez, and brendon_small.

He has a short “window of opportunity” to implement changes, improvements, and suggestions before submitting it to the national competition, so he’s going to try and do some of the things that were suggested in the other thread that he didn’t have time to do.

(For those who don’t want to read the other thread, it’s a social networking site based around movie ratings and reviews. It measures your compatibility with other members based on how you rate movies.)

Congrats! And good luck in the national competition.

UPDATE: He made the finals (top ten in the nation), and a big part of the reason was all of the feedback you guys gave him. Thank you again - from both of us.

We had a great trip to Anaheim for the nationals, and he got to go up on stage at the Anaheim Convention Center with the other nine finalists when the winners were announced. Very, very cool.
