Thank you ideas

We had our first baby six months ago. Because of some medical issues, I left my job early in the pregnancy and tried to make a go of my own business from home. Without my regular income, money was tighter than usual. Long story short, my extended family (with whom I’ve never been very close) really helped us out with a lot of baby luxuries. A cousin of mine loaned tons of cute clothes, bouncers, a swing and other stuff like that. How would you thank someone when you’re bringing the items back?

I’ve had this kind of issue before where I want to say thank you in a special way, but I just don’t want to drop a huge load of cash on some elaborate gift. That’s the whole reason they helped in the first place–to save us some money.

Bake something nice – cookies, brownies, etc. Top with a bow and include a handwritten note from you saying how much you appreciate the help.

How about creating a photo album for everyone of the baby wearing/using the gifts. It would be a great way to show how much their gifts were used and appreciated.

Oooh! I love both these ideas. I’ll start printing out photos now and give my husband brownie duty, since I’ve left little time to get this done.
