Heh. I’m imagining this:
Dear Debbie:
It was wonderful to see you again last week. It’s been a long time since I last visited Dallas and I was grateful to have you as a guide and companion.
I wanted to thank you for the rigorous fellatio you performed on my last night in town. It was a wonderful surprise, and the quality was simply superb – I simply have not been able to find that caliber of oral sex in my hometown. It was a gift I will always treasure.
All the best,
Johnny Holmes
Although I HATE!!! writing thank you notes. I do see a need for them in a wedding type situation. In many cases people have travelled a long way or have spent considerable money on your gift. I think that it is only right that you take the time to jot down a quick thank you.
If I spent $200 plus on a gift, I would like a thank you card, even just to acknowledge that you had recieved it. Besides I had gifts from my own wedding disapear from the table at the wedding to the gift opening the next day. (I would have never figured that out unless I was making thank you cards!) : )
