I’ve just gotten a message from the fellow who wanted to seell me that Noni Juice. Naturally I had e-mailed him the comments from the StraightDope Message Board. Ray was not pleased.
He did, though, ask for the addresses of ill people so he can enlighten them with the wonderful cure.
Ho, ho. Not a chance in the world would I pass on the patients’ names or addresses.
You guys are great. I wanted to blast him, but didn’t have the knowledge of the stuff.
Now where do I send my money for the great answers?
Despite the fact that sdimbert was so eager he posted twice, the money should actually be sent to me. It is true that I did not actually post to the Noni Juice thread, but I feel sure that my steady reliance upon the facts was the inspiration for each of the posters who actually did respond. As the archetypical, steady, ancient poster, it is time that I receive my due, and cash (preferably in small-denomination, unmarked, bills) would be a perfectly acceptable recompense.
I feel that I am due some credit. Since no thing can exist without an opposite, without me Tom would not have been here to mentor the people who actually did help you.
Unfortunately, as the opposite of Tom, I must insist that you give me no money.
