Just wanted to say thanks to my landlords for kicking us out after a year and a half in the same place because you wanted to sell in the lowest housing market in years in London.
Thanks so much for understanding that we have one housemate who will be just finishing her chemo for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at the same time as you’re kicking us to the curb. So she’ll probably have a great time finding a new home as she’s not been able to work for 8 months.
Thanks as well for the wonderful timing that means my girlfriend and I have to cancel our non-refundable air fare tickets to France for a ski trip, as well as leave some of our friends high and dry on the accomodations they have already paid a deposit on. Of course, our friends will likely have no problem getting their deposit back, as it’s still 2 months away before we have to move, but it still sucks. And admittedly, it’s only about $200 we would be losing, but it sure would have been nice to be able to ski once this year.
Basically, thanks ever so much for turning four people’s lives upside down so you can attempt to make a quick buck. You’ve just confirmed my decision that renting is a sucker’s game and I intend to spend the next period of my life saving up as much money as possible to buy a home as soon as humanly possible.
