I see in the TV Guide that every night this week Nickleodeon is showing a Gilligan’s Island marathon, six episodes a night. I just wanted to thank them for keeping the tradition alive. I am inspired to offer some further reading on the cultural importance of my story.

Even as a child I didn’t really like the show - but I always watched it anyway (a) because my friends did, and (b) I had a HUGE crush on the Professor.
I always thought the professor was hot too…but then there were some ugly dudes on that island. I mean, the boys get Ginger and MaryAnne and we get Gilligan. Ewwww.
You should be so lucky, Nacho4Sara.
Nickelodeon. Nickelodeon. Dammit.
I forgot this one, once provided by Nurlman.

I prefer the later episodes, myself, because the earlier ones had the gall to call MaryAnn “the rest”. Hmmmph!
