I’ve been a lurker for a while and finally had some free time and decided to be a guest member for a bit. It probably won’t be long. I don’t have the time I used to and don’t have all that much to say.
But I did want to say that as a lurker I’ve read a number of threads here and been entertained a lot.

I evidently always have a lot to say. Very weighty things, too. And I always complete my thoughts before hitting submit. This is all made very clear by the itty bitty number on the corner and by the fact that none of my posts, ever, has a “last edited” line in tiny print!
Who says you need to have something to say to post here? Hell, we have an entire recurring weekly thread dedicated entirely to posting things when you have nothing to say. Matter of fact, we’re pretty big on the idea that if you have nothing to say, say it here!
Don’t be shy. Hang around, talk about whatever you want. Dial down that internal censor that says “This is stupid, no one will find this interesting.” Sure, we might not find it interesting, but we’ll probably talk about anyway. It’s what we do.
