I work in a hospital. For the last several years, I have noticed this “CE” logo on every piece of medical equipment, and many non- medical products as well. What is it? A new version of the old UL symbol? Some type of recycling instruction? Please help as my scalp is getting sore from headscratching!
It’s the Canadian version of UL (Underwriter’s Laboratory).
It’s a European Standard that is mandatory for certain product groups.

European version.
“CONFORMITE EUROPEEN” = European Conformity.
The equipment meets the appropriate European standards,
Thanx everybody!
