I watch a lot of tv with my friend and we’ve started playing the “that always/never happens to me” after some absurd situation happens, usually during a commercial, but occasionally during programming. What kind of never/always situations would you like to share? Two of mine:
Never: Taco bell commercial, two office workers arrive with some new Taco Bell platter, intending to wolf it down quick but no! Suddenly a mariachi band appears, insisting that they savor their meal. In this case, I get to lament that this never happens to me, because I’d love for a handsome latino man to spontaneously appear to me, serenading me with his guitar and winking at me with accompanying whiplash sound.
Always: The new car commercial where the new model of car has stolen the letter “H” from any other use. I have a bad habit of spilling water on my keyboard, after which during the drying out period there will often be one or two letters that don’t work and I’ll be struggling to form sentences without, say, the letter “H”
