Mmmmm, the really good coke.
Sounds like a weapon.
That was hilarious. Thank you.
not very effective, though, being made of very thin cardboard
Yeah but watch out for the gerbil inside. He’s fucking pissed.
You should move to Alaska. Seriously. It’s a haven for people who think like you do. Lots of malcontents and disgruntled types move up there and build themselves a place out in the boonies, and become end-of-the-roaders, living a nearly solitary existence except for the occasional trips to civilization to restock supplies.
Used to be, I loved the place where I was born and grew up and even returned to later in life. I would never have recommended it for people of your ilk, as I respected the place too much and didn’t want to see it populated by bozos and assholes. But it’s become a place where people like you have made it a shithole to live in, so why not send more like you up there to wallow in your self pity and righteousness with the growing population of misanthropes.
There’s the added attraction that if you’re far enough out of town, there’s no internet access, so nobody has to listen to your spittle-drenched rantings. Another benefit is that not everyone who tries it survives the experience, either starving to death, freezing to death, or being eaten by a bear.
In summary - and this is the worst insult I can think of - you remind me of by blessedly deceased brother-in-law, about whom I’ve not-so-lovingly written in the past. North to Alaska! And don’t let the door hit you in the ass.
Oh he will get wifi. It’s proven on this board that you can get Wi-Fi in the remotest of places;).
As someone who lives closer to Alaska than any other US state, I can say with authority that your statement is as factually false as Chefguy’s post about Alaska is uncomfortably right on the nose.
I live in a very remote area. I do have electricity, which would be necessary for computer and wi-fi. I was assuming the parties surely had electricity. But, eh maybe not.
This is what happens when I don’t review. I meant to edit the above to add “…eaten by a bear, which means there are plenty of available cabins.” Otherwise, it sounds too close to wishing death on someone, which was not my intent.
Eh?
While yes, you need a computer and electricity to have WiFi, but you also need internet access. WiFi is just the technology to go wireless inside your home. You still need to plug the WiFi/modem into something that supplies the internet feed.
SA, in your mind, everywhere you go you encounter assholes.
Have you considered that maybe you’re the asshole?
Laptops work just fine without electricity, as do phones, but if there is no satellite connection, there’s no internet.
Ceci n’est pas une asspipe.
.
Yep. I’m not THAT remote (central Colorado Mountains), but the only utility I have is electricity. Water from a well, septic system and propane tank. My internet and TV is through satellite dish.
The only wired utility I have is electric, we had to buy the poles to have a rural coop run the lines. Very pricey. And I totally understand portable laptops and phones are battery operated. You do have to charge them though. My TV and Internet is satellite, also. If you come to my road you won’t get any cell service. The only place where there is wi-fi is my house. It was spotty at best til we got Hughesnet. That has just been for the last 2 years.
I assume as their ads say if you have a clear southern facing view Hughesnet can provide internet access, anywhere. For a price.
No way. Trump and Clinton both polarized and repelled, the only reason Trump got in was that he picked up the “I won’t vote for Hillary under any circumstances” block. That was the election with two of the worst and most disliked candidates in US history and the most negative attitudes. A year later, and people are still saying “Thank God we never got Hillary.” But then they get religion: “God help us, we have Trump.”
Those voters are fond of saying they didn’t vote for a Pastor-in-chief or a husband. What happened to the moral issues raised during the Clinton presidency? What changed?
“If you smell shit everywhere you go, maybe you should check your shoes.”
We were watching CNN earlier, and they said The Washington Post reported that Trump didn’t find her story “credible”, which is weird. Wouldn’t he know for sure whether or not her story was true, either in whole or in part? Wasn’t he in the room when these events occurred?
