That Stormy Daniels interview was a bust

Oh, I get it…
Back to the thread, Will they really depose Trump in Stormy’s lawsuit? I heard someone say it will end in arbitration.
(Mark Geragos, I think?)

Can’t find it online but AP Radio News just reported that Cohen’s attorney has admitted to Daniels being paid. “Go away money” rather than “hush money”.

Late to the thread. I just watched the 60 Minutes interview on DVR last night after work. At some point during the interview, I noticed that Stormy’s facial structure really resembles Trump’s quite a bit. That’s when it all clicked. Of course he wanted to have sex with her, she looks like him! Plus the “you remind me of my daughter” line makes a little more sense now. (Although… Ewww…)

Oh please!

Shit, that was not what you meant.

I liked that it could mean either. One deposition could lead to another deposition.

Thanks for this! Too often when there’s clever wordplay, what happens is that people follow up with some kind of witty retort or elaboration on the word play. And then all you end up with is just a bunch of people trying to be funny.

It’s so much better to just label it and explain it in detail without trying to be clever in any way about it.

Y’see Hentor, it all hinges on what we in the Humorology field call “homonyms.” That’s a very scientific word, but it really only means that certain words prefer the company of men.

I have a PowerPoint here somewhere, hold on…

Rudy Giuliani just disclosed on Fox News that Trump reimbursed the $130,000 to Michael Cohen.

Rudy, Rudy, Rudy…

He said it was “funneled through a law firm.”

Rudy, Rudy, Rudy…

So, there is a second law firm involved in funneling money?

On Fox News? Now we know it didn’t happen.

You can hear Hannity was caught by surprise. “Oh. I didn’t know he did that.”

Giuliani shows us tonight why he is considered such a skilled prosecutor as he apparently just convicted the President of the United States.

Ah, that explains President Tourette’s latest, er, ejaculations on Twitter, where he helpfully explains that Mr. Cohen is an attorney and that it is perfectly normal that celebrities such as himself routinely pay porn stars to not discuss things that never happened, and that money from campaign played no “roll” in the transaction.

no way mr. thump is the author of that.

and no way it really holds water - Cohen was minor, now hes paid a retainer, yet he used his own money to pay ms. clifford and wasn’t re-imbursed and was without the knowledge of trump, yet trump paid him back making it all legal?

anyway

when did trump pay him back?

_since when does a monthly retainer cover costs such as hush money as well?

Yeah.

“Mr. Trump, please make sure you reimburse me for this $130K transaction you know nothing about, and if you don’t mind, spread it out over several months so it doesn’t all show up at once.” Sounds legit.

“I’m no expert, but the president having to take to Twitter to personally clean up his lawyer’s statements is not a crisis management best practice.”

And to my point above, RudyG just went on Fox & Friends and made the claim the payment was made specifically to influence the election.

Wow! Rudy is wrapping this one up fast!
