That Stormy Daniels interview was a bust

Yeah. I didn’t believe him when said it could be finished in two weeks, but damn if Rudy doesn’t deliver.

You can almost see the wheels turning inside Hannity’s head: “Is this bad? It sounds like it might be bad. Should I cut to a car crash or panda porn or something, anything, else??”

Is Rudy secretly working for Mueller in exchange for leniency?

I think that’s the legal problem. Had they paid it with campaign funds, there would be no legal issue.

The SD interview may have been a bust, but these Rudy interviews are gold, Jerry, gold!

The latest: RudyG calls Capo Cohen an “ambulance chaser”.

Heh, even when his lawyers write it for him, as they obviously did here, he can’t help but screw it up.

“Strictly Legit” is on Cohen’s business card.

Rolling Stone just published a piece of investigative reporting, and it turns out that Better-Call-Cohen has a long history of ties to the Russian mob, and to insurance scams where car crashes are staged to set up lawsuits.

Better Call Cohen: The Shady Cases of a Trump Lawyer’s Personal Injury Practice

So Rudy yesterday claimed that Donald knew nothing about the Daniels’ payment, but it was a personal matter by Cohen, out of his deep respect and affection for Donald. But it was absolutely not a campaign matter and Donald - well, not Donald, you understand, but someone legally allowed to authorize payments from TrumpCo. - had paid it all back, eventually.

Which meant that Donald was probably guilty of filing a false financial statement since he didn’t include his debt to Cohen.

But, no rest for the wicked! This morning on Fox & Friends, Rudy continued to insist that Cohen’s payment to Daniels (who, he claims, did not have an affair with Donald) was completely unconnected to the campaign - except for noting that the timing of the payment was right at a tricky point for the Campaign, with the Third Debate against the Demon Hillary coming up.

Michael Avenatti is picking out a nice fruit basket for Rudy as we speak.

And, “I know a guy who knows a guy…”

It will be done very professionally.

Not Cohen. Avenatti, Stormy’s lawyer.
