That Stormy Daniels interview was a bust

And that’s the most important part, amIright?
(We won’t be talking 'bout him not wearing a hat*, like a proper gentleman, 'cause that hair… well, what can you say?)
*'Course when he does wear a hat…

CMC fnord!

It gives him the opportunity to complement their looks and gauge their reaction without having to just blatantly say, Hey, you’re really hot. It also provides him the veneer of being a loving father. I think most men would be flattered if an attractive older woman were to say something like “You’re so handsome, you remind me of my son.” People have enough of an ego to take things like that as a compliment while still being aware enough of their own individuality not to think Trump or the woman in that scenario were looking to bang a surrogate of their offspring.

This might be the creepiest thing I’ve ever read.

Oh, yeah, and don’t forget the…

T and A.

Yet, it’s not as creepy as “You’re so beautiful, you remind me of a cardboard tube.”!

CMC fnord!

That’s more confusing than creepy.

People around here claim to find lots of things creepy. Oddly enough they rarely find things creepy that actually are creepy, like the fact it’s virtually impossible to drive down the street or fill up their cars without hearing “Get down on your knees and suck my badass cock” blaring from a nearby car, or to take their kids into a 7-11 and not have them exposed to endless women’s magazines touting advice on how to give the best blowjobs.

As I said, this country went to shit a long time ago.

And more stupid than either.

Please, do go on.

Go on about what, how much the country’s gone to shit, or titillating you with talk of kids and blowjobs?

Go on with how terrible rap music and pornography caused the election of trump because nobody will think of the children…

You’re being facetious but the fact is that they and other hallmarks/consequences of 50 years of liberalism are exactly what caused the election of Donald Trump. Not that I expect anyone around here to pull their heads out of the sand and recognize or acknowledge it, but still it won’t hurt to have it on the record.

Yep, liberals caused Trump. If only they hadn’t given black people rights, let women find employment outside of the home, or ignored the sanctimonious hypocrisy of the church. Hell, we don’t even have to look through the lingerie section of the Sears-Roebuck to get our jollies anymore!

Seems to me the “world went to shit” about the time you became an adult. Gibbs would apply Rule 39 in this situation.

It’s also a fact that opposition to 50 years of ever-increasing liberalism is why nothing harms Trump. His supporters view his strong opposition to liberal politics and attitudes as paramount and will forgive/overlook pretty much anything he does as a result. His support doesn’t come from his character or his honesty or his morals or who he is as a person, it comes from his willingness to take on dictatorial and overreaching PC culture as well as liberalism in general.

A LOT of people in this country are fed up with what it’s become and will tolerate almost anything to see it stopped or reversed. They’re fed up with it being impossible to keep their kids from being exposed to filth and with being called names for supposed offenses they are guilty of and views they don’t hold. They see increasing support for things like laws against ‘hate speech’ as taking away their right to free speech and presenting the specter of thought police, and they see support for gun control as an attempt to take away their ability to defend themselves from criminals. They couldn’t care less about Trump’s affairs or if he lies about who he’s had affairs with what he calls fake news as long as he stands in firm opposition to you.

Trump would probably have won in a landslide if all the people who basically favor his politics but were put off by him as a person had voted for him anyway. This includes me, as I didn’t vote for him for that very reason. You people way misunderstand the current of resentment you’ve created and it’s come back to bite you in the butt in what is probably the most unpleasant way it could have. So in my opinion you have two choices. Either dial back the hatred and villainization and the never-ending orgy of whingement over everything in life that isn’t perfect, or get even more Trump or Trump-esqe governance in the future.

Fascinating. Tell me more. Especially the things about this filth and free speech…

Thanks for exemplifying exactly what I was talking about above. The problems with what liberalism has wrought in this country have nothing to do with efforts to eliminate racism, or women’s rights or religion. Most people in this country can readily see the inhumanity of racism and that women deserve equal pay for equal work and the freedom to pursue whatever careers they like. What people don’t like is being attacked and called names the instant you sense some degree of opposition. They don’t like that it’s virtually impossible to keep bad guys in jail and how prevalent and widespread crime has become. They don’t like what our educational system has become, where college graduates speak in ways that never would have passed 8th grade English in 1960, people can’t do math, and that the primary function of education these days seems to be to crank out as many pro-liberal students as possible. They don’t like that you’ve not only increased the danger of crime but are simultaneously trying to take away their ability to defend themselves from it. Etc., etc., etc. None of this realistically has anything to do with racism or sexism. What it has to do with is a desire to live like civilized human beings free from filth and crime and an ever encroaching government trying to tell them how to live their lives.

Wait, just a sec, you can’t be for Trump and against him, at the same time. That’s non-sensical.

Now you’re getting it.

You can support someone for what you think they’ll do politically while at the same time disapproving of them as a person…you know, like NOW and most other Democrats presumably did with Bill Clinton. :stuck_out_tongue:

Where do you live that this is going on?

Because it’s certainly not happening in any place I’ve lived.
