This country has slipped further and further into right wing conservatism,thanks to gerrymandering and the minority controlling state houses, Congress, the airwaves via radio not to mention the Fox News bubble. If anything it is exactly the ultra right wing conservative views that have brought back the freedom to comfortably express open rasism, the devaluation of education, the lowering of wages as workers are deemed as replaceable cogs and unions are decimated. Corporations are now king and we live in an oligarchy controlled by the almighty dollar, forget democracy, politicians ignore their constituents and vote with their donors.
If liberals caused the decline of America please explain Kansas to me. They put all the policies republicans claim will save the country. Yet they are a failed state. I’m tired for being blamed for all the ills in the country when all I want is for you to have decent healthcare, make a living wage and to be able to retire someday with dignity.

It would make sense if they voted for Mike Pence - that I would completely understand. But conservatives voting for Donald Trump is like pro-choice women voting for Pope Francis. Admittedly not a perfect analogy but it’s the best I can come up with on 3 hours of sleep.
