Hmm, I’ll give Beck points for assertiveness, but her hackles were too clearly raised, and her riposte lacked sauce. Then again “shut up you twit” hardly sets the standard Pit tone we should expect from a veteran poster like Fenris. As playground slap fights go, this one is maybe an opening act.
I give Beck a 4.7/10, however if Fenris could try again, this time with a little venom, I’d be willing to give Beck another chance as well. But I want to see some evisceration this time.

I noted from the NY Times article that Stormy competes in eventing (judging by the photo of her on horseback), and that’s a sport that requires nerves of steel, quick decision-making, tight focus, good judgment, mental toughness, hard preparatory work, confidence without overconfidence, and just plain guts. It’s rare, but people do die on the cross-country course, or go the way of Christopher Reeve. So right there she’s way ahead of That Man.
I also give her props for stepping back from competition to keep the circus away from that part of her world.
