Isn’t he some kind of professor type? He sure writes like one.
I would have figured he’s just preoccupied by end-of-school-year exams/events/et cetera and will return in a week or two.

Hes one of the most intelligent people here. I think his work was in aerospace engineering though.
Yeah, think he does consulting/contract work. He’s a smart guy who has a complete inability to disguise the contempt he has for anyone who disagrees with him, hence his warnings.
I don’t think he has contempt if you disagree in an intelligent manner. He does not tolerate fools.
Boy, I never sensed contempt - even tho we expressed different opinions on some things.
He’s a great contributor and I hope he comes back.

Another voice asking about Stranger. And John Mace.
I regret his absence. He was warned for things like calling other posters “fuckwit”. Nonetheless his posts were generally so full of information that maybe he could have been given a pass. Unfortunately, he was given four warnings and then suspended and seems to have taken his marbles and gone home. Pity.
I too wish he would come back.
Last I heard they had some plot to kill each other’s relatives. Maybe it went bad.
He was suspended in October 2018 but came back and posted frequently until April of this year, when he last posted or logged on. So the suspension doesn’t seem to have been the reason he stopped posting.
This is all well and good until you think it’s your place to define who is a “fool.”
‘Cos most of us in this country seem to define “fool” as “someone who disagrees with me.”
Well, on many occasions he obviously had better knowledge and his opinion should carry more weight. But he said the same dismissive shit in Marvel vs DC threads. He’d act like studying physical injuries made him a martial arts expert. Frankly, he suffers from a very obnoxious ego issue common amongst well educated and intelligent people.
Not meaning to purely slag. He was a positive round here. But if you didn’t notice his frequent sneering attitude, that’s you not paying attention.
