I’ve had it. If I have to scrub the damn kitchen floor one more farking time I’m going to scream.
I’ve tried every type of mop (sponge, rag, strip) known to man. None of them work as well as me getting on my hands and knees with a scrub brush and cloth. I’m getting to old for this crap.
I’m thinking of either getting a Hoover FloorMate or an upright steam cleaner. Which do you have and does it get grime and dirt off a linoleum floor? Better yet, how much would you charge to mop my kitchen floor every evening?
FWIW: I have no personal experience with either the Floormate or steam cleaners.

A friend of mine has one of those floor steam cleaners (like the ones you see on the infomercials) and she absolutely loves it. Her house has white tile all over the place. She said it beats cleaning with those swiffer things and reglar mops. And hers converts so she can clean the shower, sink, etc with it.
I bought a Floor Mate about a year ago. It works great on my marble and hardwood floors. It does not do well in the bathroom on my tile floors due to the tile being so small. It doesn’t get in to the grout lines that well.
As to linoleum, I would think it might do well unless your flooring is very textured (with a lot of surface variations).
