The 100 Most Influential People - Try the Third

Leaders. George Washington
Science. Albert Einstein

They fight crime!

Leader. Genghis Khan
Science. Albert Einstein

Leaders. George Washington
Scientists. Albert Einstein

Bucking the trend here:

Leaders. Augustus Caesar
Science. Isaac Newton

They don’t fight crime. However, they are forced by a set of unlikely circumstances to share a small apartment in Greenwich Village. Hijinks ensue.

I guess Newton is the Felix in that pair.

Brutal, simply brutal now.

Leader. Genghis Khan
Science. Albert Einstein

I had to go with Isaac Newton for being more influential because his system of dynamics is still in constant, everyday use even now.

Leaders. George Washington
Science. Albert Einstein

Astronaut Jim Lovell, 1970: “We just put Sir Isaac Newton in the driver’s seat.”

Leader. Genghis Khan
Science. Albert Einstein

Leader. Genghis Khan
Science. Albert Einstein

Leader. Genghis Khan
Science. Albert Einstein

It’s a difficult choice between those two. Do you go for the teacher or the student? I mentally flipped a coin and had to pick one

Leaders. Genghis Khan
Science. Albert Einstein

Leaders. George Washington
Scientists. Albert Einstein

It is not widely known that visitors to their Greenwich Village apartment commonly thought that it was George who was the intellectual one.

Leader: George Washington
Scientist: Albert Einstein

Leaders. George Washington
Science. Albert Einstein

It’s time to set the record straight on George Washington.

Leader. Genghis Khan
Science. Albert Einstein

Leaders. Khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!
Science. The Big Fig Newton.

or according to the rules:

Leader. Genghis Khan
Science. Issac Newton

Hey, I’m just old enough to be heavily influenced by Mr Einstein and his help in creating the most wonderful bomb. So much cold war paranoia is impossible to ignore. That paranoia remains a huge part of our glorious foreign policy to this very day.

So once again, the majority here has it all wrong.

Missing the point, Little Nemo. What makes Washington so awesomely great?
He STEPPED DOWN! Revolutionary! Never seen in the modern age! The leader of a nation that gives up his power willingly? It’s still damn impressive.

Yeah, elections have stopped meaning anything, and the US government seems to be a millionaires club, (when not out right criminal), but Washington’s influence isn’t something that can be easily brushed aside.

Did you click on the link? I’m aware that George Washington wasn’t really made out of radiation.

And the reason I voted for Washington is what I wrote earlier. Washington was important in the founding of the United States. But so were Adams, Franklin, Hamilton, Jefferson, Madison and others. Genghis Khan and Augustus Ceasar were more individually influential.

Oh, fun videos are also beside the point, not what I was considering when I posted.

Yeah, I was somewhat dismayed Jefferson got booted off the list before Washington, but dealing with the names left, the influence of Khan and Gus pales in comparison to the “Father of the Country.” If I lived outside the US, I would most likely feel otherwise. But I don’t, so I will root for the homeboy.

This is all in fun, and Hart’s list hardly strikes me as perfect in the first place.
