Baileys floating in bourbon. I’ve got it in the fridge and will pour another one tonight. It should sit suspended in the bourbon like a little embryo.
I think the boot needs an airplant and a home on the shelf.

Package received! Labdad, you thrilled deedeeknowit no end. She has indeed watched concerts from that venue! She immediately put on the shirt and blessed the shot glass. Thank you muchly! Too cool.

I received not one but TWO, shot glasses (One with the alcohol molecule on it and one from the TOPO Distillery which looks like a fun place to visit!)and a bottle opener/screwdriver keychain along with an explanatory note. I will snap a pic when I have a moment and christen them tonight!

I received a wonderfully weird assortment of goodies (and I love weird!): two shot glasses, one with a little alien on it; a Frankenstein finger puppet; a Willie [Nelson] for President coaster; and a couple more things. The box was covered with owl stickers and seeing it made me smile at the end of a cruddy day. Much appreciated!

Two people haven’t commented since I mailed out the names & addresses, but neither are flakes so I’m not worried.
On a personal note, my MA thesis is due Sunday night. I’m pretty much going to be lost in Word and a stack of books between now and then, so I’ll likely be MIA until Monday. I’d ask for y’alls thoughts and prayers because after 18 months I still don’t feel like this fucking thing is ready for submission, but we’ve seen how well those don’t work so maybe you can wish me luck with a toast using your new shot glasses.
Lamest excuse EVER, but my son used up every box in the house over the weekend making forts and armor… so if I don’t get anything from Amazon today I’ll bite the bullet and just buy a padded envelope. 
No, my excuse was lamest, back a ways when my mailing was delayed due to the dog trying to eat the package. That it was true did not make it any less lame.
Just to update, my package was sent on the 4th and is in the hands of Canada Post and on its way to Blighty!
