It’s about that time! This is when dopers from all corners send a shot glass to another doper (usually along with some goodies!).
The rules are simple:

[li]Reply to this thread expressing your interest in the exchange.[/li][li]Email me at sdmbshotglassexchange @ gmail.com (link broken for spam reasons) . Say whether or not international shipping is ok… we have a few participants from Australia, Canada and Europe.[/li][li]Names are picked Round-robin style… The person you’re receiving from isn’t necessarily the person to whom you’re sending a glass.[/li][li]Send your glass promptly![/li][li]Receive your glass and make sure it works![/li][/ul]
The more the merrier, but please, please refrain from participating if you’re going to be busy, going through a move, or otherwise indisposed and unable to send a glass. On a similar note, please participate even if you’ve been burned in the past and we will do our best to find someone to pick up the slack and send another one to make sure everyone gets a glass.
Feel free to throw in other things with your shot glass… local flair, samples of what you think goes best in that glass… whatever!
We’ll set the deadline to be April 30th. I’ll do my best to get as much participation as possible. If it dies down, I may move it up a week or two.
You better believe I’m in! I’ll mention it again when the pairings are released but I collect pens from places I go and I always request a pen from my doper friends, so if you have me…don’t forget my pen please!
C’mon, people! It’s lots of fun! we need lots more participants and some new blood. I’m going to send 2 shot glasses to whatever new person I get in the exchange, how’s that?
Love to do it this year. The only other year I participated I got mine out late and didn’t receive one in return. I vow to better hold up my end of the bargain this time
So, how obligatory are the additional pieces of flair? Is there a flair war, where if I don’t include a bunch of really awesome shit WITH the glass, I’ll be ostracized and ridiculed?
