The 1st Annual Tebow Marches to the Super Bowl Thread

RE: Josh McDaniels

I wonder if he was referencing leaving your Mark, as in Sanchez and Brunell. Now that was a helluva ‘pick sicks.’

For no other reason (including religion), seeing Tim Tebow succeed and impacting his team is a good lesson: Attitude counts.

It drives the sports media insane = bonus.

At the end of the game, when Tebow got down to do his little pose, a coworker and I yelled in unison at the television screen, “Aw, get up, Tebow!”

I think there’s at least a 31.6% chance you’re correct.

316 yards. And both his coach and his GM are named John. Spoooooooooky.

This Tebow thing is getting insufferable. I live in Denver and, good lord, we even have local folks Facebooking pictures of “a halo hovering over [del]Invesco[/del] Sports Authority Field at Mile High” before the game. Ugh

Did he really say the best thing that happened last night was making a little girl happy?

I have to say, the end of that game was pretty frickin’ cool. As soon as the OT kick-off was out of the way, I went up stairs to retrieve something or another and by the time I got back down … the game was over.

Thank Buddah for digital TeeVee recording.

The coach’s has a secretary named Lincoln and the GM has a secretary named Kennedy. Or Luke, Matthew, Mark and John. I’m sure there’s an angel, er, angle here somewhere.

I thought I saw the image of Jesus on a towel at the game.

I think I’ve made my opinion on Tim Tebow very clear: I like the guy a lot, but just don’t think he’s a very good pro quarterback.

Moreover, I’m a Giants fan, which means that my ideal scenario couldn’t and wouldn’t end well for Tim.

And realistically, I think Tim AND my Giants will get crushed this weekend.

Still, if my Giants can’t win the Super Bowl, I can’t help hoping Tebow proves me wrong and takes the Broncos all the way. Why? Because it’s going to be hilarious to watch the reaction from people like Rabbi Joshua Hammerman!

Apparently, if the Broncos win, Hammerman thinks we’ll have riots, pogroms, assaults on gays, mosque burnings, mass deportations of foreigners… there’s no end to Tim Tebow’s evil. America is just CRAWLING with violent Christians who are just waiting for Tebow to unleash them!

It’s ALMOST enough to make me root for Tim to hoist the Lombardi trophy!

If Denver beats the Patriots, I would say we have definite proof of the supernatural.

You know that info bar that the nfl network has on the side of the screen. It shows the upcoming stories? Just now it read like this:

Tbow on Brady
Brady on Tbow
Overtime magic
Tbow vs. Brady
Shocker in Denver
Are the Packers still in the playoffs or did I fall asleep and wake up a month from now and Denver has won the sb?

There still are more games to play, yes?

Lag, as somebody on the 49ers subreddit posted, this hype just allows us to stay under the radar. Do you really want everybody drooling over your team. That breeds complacency.

As a Packer fan, I couldn’t agree more. I’ve been thrilled with Brees taking the press from Rodgers (who I like having a chip on his shoulder) and Tebow being the story rather than a one-loss season for the Packers. I’m more than happy to have the spotlight in Denver (or Boston for that matter) rather than Wisconsin.

All right! Grab a bowl of popcorn, we’re rooting for the same team this time.

Boy o boy would I love to see them beat the Pats. IF that happens, I see the Giants as a bigger threat than the Texans. We all saw what NY did to those poor birds…

I don’t mean Giants! That doesn’t even make sense. I am not looking that far ahead. It’s Texans v Ravens. Um, go Texans!

WOOT!!

Hey, Whigs! There is an insurrection going down in the city involving wild horses! I don’t think you can put it down!!
Pbthtbhthpbththbththt!!!

I never thought I would say this, but…

Go Patriots!
