I received my W-2 on Feb 2nd, had my taxes E-filed on Feb. 4
Got an email that said the money should be direct deposited on the 11th.
Anyone got their money yet, or think they’ll beat this Friday?
i got mine done on 2/5. Since I owe $100 I didn’t put them in yet.
I got mine on 1/30 
However, I found out that I did them wrong and instead of the $257 I got, I should have gotten about $1757. So, does it still count?
I got my last w-2 on the 29th, filed federal that day, state the Monday after.
When I check the “where’s my refund” thing on the irs.gov site, it says I should have it on or before the 15th.
Yea, that counts, but I hope you’re getting right on that amendment.
Got mine on Jan. 31 and filed em the same day. Course, I had to re-file them due to a hang up with my EIC. Still they were done and sent in on the 31st.

On July 31, I married an Australian citizen, with no US tax presence. I moved to Australia shortly before my W-2 arrived, and had to wait an extra week for it to be sent to me. Such a return is not eligible for electronic filing, my wife had to apply for a US tax id number concurrent with the return, and I had to mail it to the US for processing.
I figure I’ll get my refund sometime next year…
I groan as I read this thread. I know I’ll have to do it, and I’ve usually made it by April 15th. I have in the past extended to, well, I can’t remember - the last one, anyway (September?).
I got my W2 and 1099s earlier than usual this year so I figured I would just sit down and have it right away. I had already picked up Turbo Tax a while ago so I was all set. I had to wait to efile because Wisconsin wasn’t ready to accept the state efile until Jan 25.
Got my state and federal refunds direct deposited in my bank account on Friday (2/4). Kind of anti-climactic to be all done now.

Filed 1/31, check deposited 2/3. Woot. Car totalled 2/4, check going toward downpayment. Crap.
E-filed on 1/27, and according to the IRS, I will have it before the 15th. Of course, I’m easy – one W-2 and one 1098-T, and TaxCut, and it’s all done in 10 minutes.
E-filed last Wedneday (the 2nd.) Checked my account this morning and my state refund had already been deposited. My federal should be in by Monday the 14th.
