The 2016 Republican candidates

I’ll be betting on Romney and Rubio. But seriously, is there interest in such an experimental auction?

Sure, that could be fun. Count me in.

Started out, I was kidding about the Draft Romney movement. Now, not so sure…

Put me down for a sawbuck on the long-term party insider who portrays himself as a maverick.

My money is on the very conservative candidate with centrist cred.

Only if it is an actual real-life slave auction.

I’ll put down ten on the guy who panders to the “original intent of the Founders” crowd.

Hey, I know it’s a longshot…

In my crystal ball… I see a man…a white man… he’s praising Ronald Reagan… he’s against abortion… he loves that second amendment… hates Obamacare… his name is… Damn, it fogged up.

Legion.

Jindal can’t get enough of the Kool-Aid:

It’s like he is mainlining the spittle that hangs from Hannity’s lip.

I actually endorse that statement.

“A new country, a new American dream, a new conception of liberty” actually sounds like something promised, not threatened, in a party platform or a presidential campaign ad (though not in any of Obama’s AFAICR).

You seriously believe Obama doesn’t believe in American exceptionalism, or the American dream, or religious liberty, and has tried to “change our culture” to “become a new country”??

I seriously believe that, although I’m not going to debate it here because the moderator will kick me in the nads.

No wonder you bought the birther claims…

I bought only one in particular. I never actually believed he was born in Kenya. I just thought he’d pulled a Warren on his university application.

LOL. You only believed one totally ridiculous, unfounded and baseless accusation by crazy people about a man you have a serious personal dislike for.

When are you going to recognize that you have a fundamental problem with objectivity regarding Obama or anything relating to him?

How is it ridiculous when a progressive hero did pretty much the same thing? That’s the whole reason I bought the story, was because of Warren.

It’s ridiculous because it’s totally baseless and unfounded. You heard or read someone somewhere say “Obama put Kenya on his college application!” and you believed it without checking. It’s just another demonstration of how your personal hatred of the man spills into every single issue – you believe ridiculous claims about the President, as long as they’re negative, without fucking checking the facts.

Would you believe “McCain put Congo as his place of birth on his college application” without checking?

Would you believe that Bobby Jindal has damaged Louisiana’s fiscal situation without checking?
