Sent mine out this morning.
I’ll be mailing mine at the post office in just under 2 hours.
I have mine all written and addressed. I just need to get stamps. Hopefully tomorrow.
Antipodean outbound postcards for Group08 have been consigned Par Avion.
You’re all way ahead of me.
I bought my postcards this morning (bastards tried to undercharge me - i soon
put them straight !)
This afternoon I will write the addresses on them, then try to think of something
to write on them.
I intend to get to the post office on Monday to post them.
This my challenge as well, but it shouldn’t be as my Blabex ratio is > 1. For now my excuse is that the stamps are in the mail.
I’ve been out of town all week, helping out with my parents. I’m heading home tonight, and should be able to mail postcards tomorrow.
I only have the opportunity to buy stamps on Friday, so I’ll write and mail my cards on the weekend.
We have 10 days to think of something, posting deadline is not until 7th June !
My postcards were dropped off at USPS over lunch!
Darn Swiss efficiency. Got the stamps, wrote the postcards (apologies to those will have to attempt to read my writing), applied stamps, and put the postcards in the yellow box in front of the post building.
All postcards have been successfully stamped and delivered to the post office.
For the record, I always have issues mailing things overseas so my recipients should expect delays.
Thanks, pen_thu and needscoffee. Interesting.
May went a little wild on me so I lost track of signing up. Hopefully folks will post images of what they get - and if this happens again next year, I hope May will be a little less wild so I can participate! ![]()
I have received a postcard! Although I feel @romansperson has cheated a little by sending it from Wales whilst on holiday over here. It’s a very nice postcard of Caernarfon Castle, in North Wales, a place I’ve been to myself many times.
I couldn’t resist! You’ll note, though, that I said more will be coming, now that I am on the other side of the pond.
… and they’re in the mail!
Postcards have been mailed! U.S. recipients also got a thematically-appropriate (for me) U.S. postage stamp.
I’ll accept delivery by hand, in person as valid.
In an exchange of firsts, it would be rather apt that the first postcard transit to be completed would be to a furinner! ![]()
But I’ll concede taking a Concorde or summat to “win” the Postcard Exchange is above and beyond, indeed up, up and away dedication to the cause.
I have more postcards and stamps. If you PM me, we can exchange our info and send postcards.
I bet others might offer as well.
