Got my postcards in the mail this afternoon. Not sure how I came out with the highest Blabex in my group but I guess posting my daily Wordle is part of that. Looking forward to upcoming postcard reports…
@needscoffee @JKellyMap @Ulf_the_Unwashed I genuinely appreciate the offer, but a good 60-75% of the fun of the exchange for me is the finding and selecting of postcards to send, and there’s honestly not time for me to do that (nor will there be until…August at least based on work events this week).
My post was not sad or angry or anything like that. It was intended as a lighthearted “oops!” post.

I dropped my postcards in the mail late yesterday afternoon.
And I got not one, but TWO postcards today from @silenus! One featuring this painting by Virgil Finlay and another with a cartoon drawing of (I think) Captain Marvel by John Kovalic. Thank you!
Mine are going out Monday.
I just received my postcard from @silenus , too: a John Kovalic illustration of Black Widow. Little did silenus know that I attended college with Mr. Kovalic, and met him a few times back then. 
Yay! And cool! I donate to his charity bike ride every year.

My cards were slid into a mailbox today and will soon be on their merry way to places around the globe.
In the meantime I received a delightful postcard showing a small sea otter, from @Karen_Lingel . The otter is resident in an aquarium near her. I believe that many years ago my wife took our daughter to see that aquarium while in that area for other purposes (porpoises?). But I never have visited. Now I have, vicariously. Thanks, Karen!

Time inexorably marches on and we are now in the scheduled final week for mailing out.
By my calculations there are 132 cards to be mailed this year and based on posted notices there are 69 or 52% already in transit. And each of the 11 groups have at least one set outbound.
As they might well say in those long ago days of analogue media “Keep those cards and letters rolling in”.
