Isn’t his tone getting a little creepy? Like he’s talking to a kindergartner.
McCain refuses to say Obama’s name.
“Who voted for it?” (points) “That one.”
McCain needs to stop with that breathy voice – it sounds quite patronizing.
+1 Obama mentioned computers.
At a superficial level (setting aside the accuracy of the comments), I mostly like both candidate’s speaking styles. Brokaw, otoh…
It’s the singular of “You people”.
Yes he has actually, but McCain is getting smarmier as the debate goes on.
Look at the sides of Obama’s head.
“Sit down John
Sit down John
for God’s sake John
Sit Down!”
Stop wandering around while “that one” is talking.
I think Obama just needs to ignore McCain and just answer the questions put to him. Because he is actually answering the questions.
5K won’t cover most health expenses for most families–especially if you have a chronic condition.
McCain: Look, I had to look at him tonight, do I have to say his name all the time too?
They both seem to have problems actually answering the questions, instead talking about the general subject of the question. For example if healthcare should be commoditized.
Did he just say "health records ONLINE??? I don’t want my health care records on the internet. Does McCain perhaps not understand the difference between being computerized and online??
John McCain now looks like that old vacuum saleman, Mr. Oreck. ha ha
Obama will fine parents struggling to find health insurance for their kids.
I did not know that.
What the hell is McCain talking about? They’ll fine you, they’ll fine you?
Neither one of them answered the “medical care as commodity” question.
Fine you?
Across state lines is a health care nightmare–trust me.
wait-someone is going to go from TN to AZ for healthcare? The gas alone will eat up your 5K!
Eh? Obama answered the question, I thought.
McCain is speaking to the audience in a tone similar to the tone I use when I explain something scientific or technical to my 8 year old son. Kind of a high but friendly and animated voice.
The thing about it is that I’m 41.
That makes no sense. If I got cancer treatment and my employer health plan paid $500K for it and I was taxed on that $500K, getting a $5K tax credit does NOT make it even.
